Guidelines for Extended Abstracts and Papers

Submissions for IEEE ISTAS 2015 follow a two stage process

- Extended Abstract (1,000 - 1,500 words)

- Full Paper taking account of feedback provided at Abstract Stage (5,000 words)

You extended abstract will follow the same structure as your final paper, and should be aligned with at least one of the Thematic Priorities .

If your Extended Abstract or Full Paper is associated with a proposed Workshop or Panel Session, please note the name of the Workshop/Panel Session at the top of the paper. [Please note that such Extended Abstracts or Full Papers will be reviewed like any other submission.]

The structure of your submission should incorporate:

- Abstract (200 - 300 word summary) - placeholder only at Extended Abstract Stage

- Introduction - Issues to be addressed

- Objectives of your Paper

- Methodology Used

- Technology or Business Case Description

- Conclusions and Summary Recommendations

- References

Please download the IEEE ISTAS 2015 Template by right-clicking on the link and use Save Target As. It is necessary for the template to be saved on your computer.

When you change the file name and save the document, it should have a .doc extension.

All authors must comply with the template and associated guidelines for papers in order to ensure consistency across the Symposium Proceedings.

As all Extended Abstracts and Full Papers will be double blind peer reviewed by the IEEE ISTAS 2015 International Programme Committee, please ensure that no contact details are provided within the text or Properties of the document submitted. All contact details will be submitted online as part of the Submission Process.
